October 11, 2017, Local ABC and NBC affiliate First Coast News reports on Save Guana Now's efforts to protect Outpost land.   Also, scroll past video for statements and further reporting. Note: The station's written report includes two statements from Gate that Save Guana Now was not giving an opportunity to counter. Our responses can be seen here: #2 and #9.

October - November, 2017 issue of First Coast Magazine runs a feature story on Save Guana Now: Hunters, birders, fishermen and environmentalilsts all want to save Guana. Article is also online. 

First Coast Magazine was named Magazine of the Year by the Florida Magazine Association.

October 17, 2017, News4Jax WJXT reports on the Outpost controversy. A threatened Tri-Colored Heron is filmed directly in front of the Outpost, contradicting a statement from Gate denying the land harbors significant species. Among Gate's false claims, it states that independent environmental firms concluded there is no significant wildlife at the Outpost property; however, the habitat and species survey Gate submitted to the county was bought and paid for by Gate and is not independent. 

November 16, 2017, The Beaches Leader gives front page coverage to our "Art of Guana" fundraising event with artist Eugene Quinn.

June, 2018, VOID Magazine, distributed throughout north Florida,  made our efforts to stop development of conservation land the lead story of The Outdoor Issue. 

NOTE:  Void did not include Save Guana Now's response to Gate's false claims: #1, #2, #3 and #9 here. 

Correction: VOID stated: "the Florida Department of Environmental Protection has come out in staunch opposition to Gate's proposal." In fact, DEP only submitted a cautionary memo to the county.

August 9, 2018,  the PV Recorder describes current status of PV Corp.'s lawsuit against the county, including our attorney's position on PV Corp.'s continued avoidance of public hearings.
